Welcome!

Thank you for visiting our website for The College of Integrative Medicine.

Dr. David Harshfield is the founder and medical director for this team of healthcare professionals that provide evaluations and educational seminars/webinars for patient-centered alternative and specialty treatments.  This Noah's ark of practitioners and allied healthcare professionals are focused on personalized health with an alternative approach.

The unique components of our approach to health care include utilization of the Fonar upright MRI unit for functional and positional imaging specifically related to musculoskeletal assessment.  www.fonar.com/research_index.htm

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injection techniques are used to treat:
* Soft tissue injuries that include tendinopathy, tendinosis, acute and chronic muscle strain, muscle  fibrosis, ligamentous sprains, and joint capsular laxity.
* Intra-articular injuries, including arthritis, arthrofibrosis, articular cartilage defects, meniscal injury, and chronic synovitis or joint inflammation.
*Hard tissue injuries including subacute and chronic/non-healing fractures, disc disease, facet disease of the spine, and post operative complications.

Patient specific nutritional assessment and physical rehabilitation are important factors to the patients healing process.
